On any given day, any team or anyone can win the game. This is what makes competitive sports so much fun. You never know when a player or team outmatched in every aspect of the game pulls off the victory by stunning their opponent. Take a lesson from Michael Jordan.
Back in 2003, a rumor was circulating that a mutual fund executive beat Michael Jordan in a game of one-on-one during the legend's high-end "Flight School" camp in Las Vegas. Last February, Chris Ballard described what was on the tape for Sport Illustrated FanNation.
Clearly, John Rogers Jr. is no match for MJ, even though this is after Jordan's second retirement from the NBA. But this is another reminder that 1-in-1,000 or 1-in-10,000 underdogs can win any given game on any given day. Always be prepared for the battle to come and never give a team a second (or in this case third) chance to stay in the game.
