Mental Game

In many ways the difference between mediocrity and greatness is governed by what is between the ears.  Many youth sport coaches offer feedback on how to mechanically correct a players fundamentals, but fail to realize that the mental factors are highly significant to a athlete's performance.  The players are left to their own devices, often without realizing how much their thoughts influence their preparation and performance.  This series of blog post, originally based on discussion and encouragement for my kids, addresses many of the mental aspect that can enable young players to play at their peak performance.
